The Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth Basin is one of the biggest natural gas plays in the industry. Harding Company, has been a leader in exploration in North Texas for decades. The company was the first to secure drilling permits in the cities of Arlington, North Richland Hills, Grand Prairie and Midlothian, to name a few. |

HARDING LEADS IN WATER CONSERVATION INITIATIVE
Harding Company is taking a leadership role in the development of best management practices for Barnett Shale exploration and production to ensure that water is managed in an efficient and responsible manner, according to Rick Harding, president.
“We are proud to be a founding member of the Barnett Shale Water Conservation and Management Committee, which was chartered in Spring 2006,” said Harding.
“We must balance our approach to water usage, conserving this valuable resource. We must protect water quality and create reuse and recycling technologies in order to provide solutions for effective water management,” he continued.
Harding Company has an excellent track record in all phases of oil and gas operations, including exploration, development and production as well as the development of associated infrastructure. Its safety record is unblemished.

HARDING COMPANY GRANTED THE FIRST
GAS DRILLING PERMIT IN MIDLOTHIAN
Harding Company, a 53-year-old Dallas-based oil and gas exploration and production company, has been granted the first drilling permit in the City of Midlothian by its City Council, Rick Harding, company president and CEO, announced today.
“We are excited about working with the City of Midlothian to drill safely for natural gas inside the city limits and, accordingly, bring economic benefits to the community,” Mr. Harding said. “We thank the City Council and City staff for giving us this opportunity.”
Drilling is expected to begin this fall. Safety is always the top priority for any of Harding’s operations, Mr. Harding said.
Midlothian joins a growing list of “firsts” on the part of Harding Company. The company has been issued the first gas drilling permits in the Cities of Grand Prairie, North Richland Hills, and Arlington, to name a few.
Three generations of the Harding family are involved in the business. Harding Company has an excellent track record in all phases of oil and gas operations, including exploration, development and production as well as the development of associated infrastructure. Its safety record is unblemished.
